Eggnog 1
Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 1.5 cups sugar + 1 teas
- .25 cups brandy
- 1-2 teas. vanilla
- 1 teas. nutmeg
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 cup half-and-half
Directions
- Separate eggs into yolks and whites.
- Mix 6-7 minutes with beater: Egg yolks, 1.5 cups sugar, brandy, vanilla, nutmeg.
- Heat just until boiling: milk, Half-and-half.
- Add milk to yolk mixture slowly, Bring to 160 degrees.
- Beat whites till soft, Add 1 teas sugar, Beat till stiff.
- Add to milk mixture, Refrigerate over-night, Serve.
