I attended the Writer's Cantina conference for the first time. It proved to be an excellent conference, full of helpful and friendly people. I learned a good deal, and got to make a lot of connections with many others from the industry.

I submitted A Vexing Hexing to Writers of the Future this past quarter & although they chose not to publish it, they did grant it an Honorable Mention!

Writing

Completed the final revisions for Noontime Necromancy, and sent it off to the first publisher that gets a chance to reject it.

Conferences

I attended the Superstars Writing Seminar. It was packed with useful sessions, interesting people, and lots of potentially helpful organizations. This conference is split between the nuts & bolts of writing, and the business of earning money from writing.
